A trip to New York!!!!

We had the privilege of traveling to NY again this summer to celebrate the marriage of another friend!! We were so excited to celebrate with them and to visit with so many good friends again. It was even more exciting this time around for the girls because they remembered our trip from last summer and couldn't wait to play with all of their friends again!!
We stayed at the Peck house for our entire visit. Chloe and Lydia became fast friends and had a blast playing dress up and hunting for bears. (Wouldn't you know that they actually saw a bear!?! After a morning adventure following the tracks and droppings of a bear that  had visited during the night another visited in the middle of the afternoon! Chloe and Lydia were playing in the yard (making 'salads') when Chloe looked up and saw a bear trying to get the neighbors' bird feeder. Both girls excitedly ran into the house to tell us all about the bear. It left before anybody else got a look at it. This was Chloe's first bear sighting and one of the highlights of the the trip!)
Josh and Olivia hit it off and spent a lot of time jumping in the trampoline and playing 'lions'. Abby spoiled the girls with make-up and nail polish! And, we enjoyed hearing Laura play and sing in the mornings....not to mention some great chatting throughout the entire weekend!

All the kids together!

This little (big!) munchkin proved to be a great traveler and spoiled everyone with lots of smiles and coos. Time seems to just fly by faster and faster!

Congratulations to Kim and Noah!! This was hands down one of the funnest weddings we've ever attended. It was a beautiful ceremony with a fantastic reception. What a blessing to celebrate their marriage with so many fantastic people!

Just a few of those fantastic people that we enjoyed catching up with during our visit.

And some more fabulous people we enjoyed chatting with at the reception.

One great family picture.

More fun with friends....the trampoline was a huge hit and the girls were even able to swim in the freezing cold lake one hot afternoon.

More friends! The girls were thoroughly worn out each night after playing so hard with so many great friends!

I had to end this post with this smiley guy!  Here he is sporting an outfit, shoes and all, that Ryan wore as an infant. Good thing I brought it along because he will not fit into it again! This 2 month old is most definitely wearing 3 month clothing and quickly moving on to his 3-6 month wardrobe.
