The 4th of July

Our chubby munchkin is now 3 months old!! He's very ticklish and even Chloe can get him to belly laugh.

He surprised me and himself by rolling over from his tummy to his back. He's getting better and better and the girls are his biggest fan. They can't encourage or cheer him on enough.....and of course they celebrate better than anyone when he does roll over.

You guessed it! We took the girls to a circus for the 4th. I never thought a circus would set up in our tiny little town. But, it did and we had so much fun! We dropped Ian off with Aunt C and brought our cousin L along on our adventure!

After watching so many people ride the elephant the girls could hardly  stand just watching. It's too bad that the ticket to ride was the same price as their tickets to see the show. They were good sports though!

Happy Independence Day!
After the circus the girls headed into town with Uncle J & Aunt C to go swimming at a hotel pool (Ry's parents were staying there until their electric came on.....it took 8 days!) until the fireworks started. Then daddy joined them and they watched the fireworks and came home. I spent the evening at home with Ian...really ended up being the best choice because we both got a good nights sleep. On the 4th we spent most of the day eating a playing with the family and then enjoyed a patriotic concert by a local band. A very fun way to celebrate our independence! So thankful for all who fought to give it to us!

I'll leave you with this chunk-a-munk!
