Ryan and I were able to head out for a date one afternoon and hike around Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary. It was so beautiful and peaceful.

| There was a lot of evidence of beavers but we didn't actually see one. |

| Since we went to be able to spend time talking together we didn't see many birds. I think they heard us coming and took off! We did scare something large out of it's nest and watched it fly across the lake. But, we did see these sandhill cranes several times in a field next to my parent's house. |

| My brother also won his cross country meet while we were visiting. He's had a great last season! A few weeks later he broke the school record! |
