The Painting Party

Soooo excited for her party and loving her special hairdo!

The food, per Olivia's request. Meatballs, cheese & crackers, homemade bread with  pb and jelly, BBQ chips (Lays kettle baked!), tons of fruit, m&m's, pretzels dipped in white chocolate ('pretzel paintbrushes), pink lemonade, sugar cookies shaped & decorated like painter's palettes, and cupcakes.

Grammy brought her fountain and made chocolate fondue....a HUGE hit. Olivia had never seen anything like it. Here she's saying, "Grammy, what it that thing?"

Her reaction to the fountain and her first taste....she didn't want to stop!

Our first station was the 'painting station'. Olivia had picked out boxes for all of her guests to paint. They had a blast. Mixing the paint colors in the water was almost more fun then painting the boxes!

Next was the 'playdough station'.

Then we took a break to eat before singing and 'painting' the cupcakes.

'Painting' entailed brushing frosting on top of the cupcakes with jumbo brushes. Notice how many brushes just went straight to mouths! Yum!!

The whole gang.....minus one camera shy munchkin!

Classic....I held up my hand and said, "Look over here girls!" and this is what I got....hahahaha!

This gift from Grammy and Papa M turned out to be a hit for the rest of the party. Everyone took turns riding and pulling.

Snuggling with my little princess. The party was great, but she was ready for it to be done. See all the chocolate on her face? Yep, it was a success!!!

Just chilling at the end of the party with Grammy!
